The School of Nursing seeks a qualified candidate to provide project evaluation on two HRSA funded grants regarding integrating telehealth into student curriculum while forming an academic-clinical partnership to reduce the cost of care, improve the quality of care. The project evaluator will be responsible for:

  • Utilize identified QIs to measure outputs and activities
  • Engage SON faculty & students in IPCP competency integration into the curriculum
  • Utilize Plan-Do-Study-Act rapid cycle improvement methods
  • Evaluate TES based service specific indicators to determine curricular revisions required for successful integration of knowledge
  • Evaluate telehealth knowledge, attitudes, beliefs, & competency tools
  • Evidence-based evaluation metrics and tools will be identified for culturally sensitive primary care and telehealth care skills and competencies
  • Refine blueprint to maximize TES & command center resources based partnership needs
  • Determine baseline costs of travel, in- person faculty visits, and consultation with faculty
  • Determine utility of faculty serving as remote preceptors via TES & TES utilization
  • Measure student satisfaction with integration of TES into clinical course expectations using NONPF adapted clinical site forms and focus groups
  • Review and refine evaluation tools
  • Work with stakeholders to identify gaps in services related to rural and underserved populations that could be addressed by telehealth related capstone projects
  • Develop a rubric to measure variables surrounding recruitment, retention and use of financial and university supports
  • Develop preceptor education model that addresses the promotion of qualities inherent in effective clinical teaching
  • Develop a student and preceptor satisfaction tool regarding the use of longitudinal clinical placements
  • Determine satisfaction for students and preceptors

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree. Prior experience in Project Evaluation. Experience working in a team environment with little direction. Experience in PDSA and Rapid Cycle improvement models

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with students and in a telehealth environment. Cultural competence. Experience working with under-served, rural and American Indian populations. Experience working in inter-professional education environments.
