Under the supervision of the Director of Student Accounting, the Associate Director assists with the administration of the Office of Student Accounting; develops and implements policies and procedures related to student accounts, tuition payment and other office functions; manages and oversees all technical issues, systems and processes for the Office; and does related work as required. The Associate Director has direct involvement in all activities related to enhancing the mission and goals of the Office of Student Accounting. This position requires a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and two years of professional experience in a student accounting or financial aid office in an institution of higher education is required. Master’s degree in Business, Accounting or Information Technology and/or four years of experience in computer/technical administration related to student accounting or financial aid in an institution of higher education; knowledge of management information systems; and Colleague experience is preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus organizational, customer service and time management skills are essential.
