Department Summary
The Office of Global Engagement in International Affairs supports various international initiatives at UNT, including developing global partnerships, managing international agreements, hosting
visiting international delegations, supporting Fulbright and other global funding and fellowship programs, managing data and information about UNT’s global engagement activities, and other initiatives that support UNT’s international teaching, research, and scholarly endeavors.

Position Overview
The position is responsible for coordinating different programs and activities, supporting the management of UNT’s international agreements, conducting marketing, promotion, and outreach for Fulbright and global fellowships, and compiling and managing data and information.

Additional Posting Details

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in related field and one year of professional related experience in
coordinating or administering higher education programming or related field; or any
equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to prioritize multiple ongoing responsibilities.

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience compiling and managing various types of data and information and using different data management software and tools
Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Excellent public speaking skills with experience in giving presentations/conducting workshops
Experience developing reports and information
Detail oriented
Experience in grant or fellowship writing
Knowledgeable about trends in international education
Advanced intercultural competency skills within an international context
Good time management skills
Excellent public speaking skills with experience in giving presentations/conducting workshops
Strong written and verbal communication skills
