Primary Purpose of Position
This position will assist with operational function duties of the Office of the Registrar; Assist with Registrar Office functions: processing transcripts, answering phones, course withdrawal, and change of address and/or name changes.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit
The office’s primary function include: schedule coordination, registration confirmation, collection and processing of student grades, verification of enrollment statistics, clearance of students for graduation, and providing students with accurate and timely transcripts.
Work Hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Required Competency Information/Records Administration
Opens and distributes mail daily. Maintains the daily attendance log and the monthly attendance of permanent and temporary staff: Orders, posts and distributes signage for registration. Serves as Approver in Web Time Reporting (Proxy); processes paperwork and updates hiring information for temporary employees in AggieMart; initiates steps in PeopleAdmin for hiring permanent and temporary employees. In charge of keeping track of all keys and laptops; maintains physical inventory reports of office equipment, creates Annual Physical reports. Processes documentation for Property Management and Permission to Remove Assets. Maintains an office filing system, processes and files work orders and office forms. Assists with graduation preparations, rehearsal and at commencement. Maintains inventory of commencement supplies.
Obtains quotes for needed supplies: covers, lanyards, honor cords, parking tags, name card stock and name card cover. Orders PhD, Social Work and Honorary Degrees; prints in-house and mails departmental certificates. Coordinates the delivery of programs to the Greensboro Coliseum. Sends request to the Physical Plant to transport diploma covers to the Coliseum. Assists with Commencement exercise by assisting in development of the Commencement program, ensuring accuracy of program participant names.
