Position Summary

The School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) seeks a skilled editor, video producer and instructional support team member to join a dynamic, collaborative team whose primary goal is building academic programs by supporting faculty adapting course content to an online environment and engaging/supporting students that enroll in course materials delivered on a variety of platforms.

Responsibilities include:
    • Manage a typical three camera studio environment
    • Develop, produce, and launch high-quality online graduate and undergraduate video-rich programs in SEAS.
    • Selection of graphical assets and B-roll for use in course building and posting content into distribution platforms.
    • Train student assistants.
    • Edit and oversee student editing of post-produced instructional material
    • Assist faculty to optimize course materials for online delivery, including HyFlex and hybrid delivery via internal LMS systems and MOOC platforms.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in video production or related field (communication, technology, journalism, etc.) and 2 years of of professional experience in broadcasting, post-production house or related business.

Preferred Qualifications

5 years of professional experience in broadcasting, post-production house or related business.
