Under the direction of the Associate Dean and Associate Vice President for Kean Ocean, the Faculty Support Services Manager (Managing Assistant Director III) will provide essential services to support the faculty and staff of Kean Ocean (including the SEC-Manahawkin site). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: managing and staffing the faculty support office in the Gateway Building; managing the coordination of hiring and professional development/training for faculty and part-time employees in collaboration with the respective departments at the Union campus, including acting as a liaison with Human Resources Office in Union; assisting in recruiting adjunct faculty through organizing a regular Adjunct Job Fair; ensuring the timely reporting of faculty Service Accountability Records to the respective units in Union; assisting faculty in the posting of office hours and advisement hours; and performing additional duties as required. This position is located at the Kean Ocean campus in Toms River, NJ but periodic travel to the Union campus and Manahawkin location is required. This position requires a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and two years of professional experience in an institution of higher education or human resources office is required. A Master’s degree and faculty support management experience is preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Ellucian Colleague/Student Planning/Advise, Blackboard, AdvisorTrac and/or related software systems in higher education is preferred.
