Essential Job Duties:
Provide compassionate engagement with students seeking support around their LGBTQ+ identities. Conduct presentations. Promote the program (on and off campus). Coordinate, plan, and execute events for LGBTQ+ students and the campus community. Plan and execute monthly meetings for LGBTQ+ student group. Collaborate with Gender and Sexuality Alliance club. Act as a point person for LGBTQ+ student questions about campus and community resources. Have some combination of training and experience to acquire cultural competency within LGBTQ+ communities. Coordinate and maintain relationships with LGBTQ+ support organizations within our local community. Bring unique ideas to support LGBTQ+ students on campus. Order supplies for the Pride Scholars Program. Related Duties as required.

This position is a short-term, temporary, hourly, Non-Bargaining Unit (NBU) assignment, not to exceed 160 days per fiscal year (July 1-June 30). The assignment is on an as needed basis, and may be shortened or extended at any time, due to departmental needs, with little to no notice.
