  • Program Director, Center of Excellence for Alzheimer’s Disease

    The Center of Excellence for Alzheimer’s Disease is a DOH funded program to support the Alzheimer’s Disease and Memory Disorders Center (ADMDC) at the University at Buffalo to provide state of the art medical services consistent with evolving practice standards which enhances and standardizes AD/D care in the region. The goal is to facilitate early diagnosis, provide assistance with care planning, educate the health care workforce and integrate special populations. The CEAD is seeking a professional to fill the position of Program Director.


    In this position, you will serve as the coordinator of the network program and network activities. You will be responsible for:


    • selecting, training, supervising, and evaluating staff in collaboration with the PI

    • overseeing fiscal operations and monitoring of budget expenditures

    • ensuring grant reports are submitted as required

    • participating in the on-going CEAD WNY program development, implementation and redesign, as well as all program evaluation activities to meet the set benchmarks and for quality assurance.



    You will manage the BrainTrain program. You will perform 20% of the total educational activities focusing on non-physician health care providers. You will co-develop the social media network and is responsible to implement website updates using materials developed by the team members to reflect real time information. You will represent the CEAD at community events. Travel is reimbursed. You will participate in ADMDC and satellite clinics as needed.
