AV Support Technician (Temporary)

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Provide Audio/Visual (AV) support for a variety of events in various locations on the WPI campus. Knowledge of AV equipment and experience in AV setups involving laptops, projectors, display resolutions, audio recording, sound mixing, wired and wireless microphones, and videotaping helpful. Training will be provided. Other duties may include checking in/out AV equipment, providing lecture capturing support for classes, and assisting with printing posters for academic projects.
Qualities of a successful candidate will include reliability, desire to provide excellent customer service, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and willingness to learn new tasks, equipment, and software.
Available to work afternoons/early evenings during weekdays and as needed, between 8am and 5pm on weekends. Able to work 15-20 hours per week. Extra hours may need to be covered depending on the nature of the support required for a campus event. Must be able to frequently lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. with no restrictions.
