The Admissions Office’s primary mission is to ensure the enrollment goals of the college by bringing in new degree program students. We work with first-year, transfer, visiting, post bac, and graduate students. Our office achieves these goals through recruitment and outreach, applicant review, and engagement with admitted students.

The Admissions team at RISD is pleased to announce a vacancy for an Assistant Director of Admissions Operations. This is a unique opportunity to utilize problem solving skills in fine tuning and optimizing the RISD Admissions software, Technolutions’ Slate. If you find satisfaction in troubleshooting, are highly organized, possess great attention to detail and enjoy training end users, we welcome you to read-on.

The success incumbent will:
Utilize excellent written and verbal skills to conceptualize, build, test, document and implement, as approved, all operations software and analog procedures as well as process documents in order to optimize operations workflow.
Import data into our system of record, Technolutions’ Slate. (Slate experience is not required), complete and audit data import and export processes between the Admissions CRM (Slate) and the institutional SIS (Colleague).
Apply problem solving skills to identify and verify data issues and accuracy across multiple platforms, troubleshoot systems issues and escalate to appropriate vendor when necessary.
Support and train end users, and create and recommend more efficient operations processes.
Work closely and provide assistance with international undergraduate students as they coordinate lawful entry into the US.
