WPI is seeking a staff member to manage WPI's CyberCorps Scholarship for Service (SFS) program. The staff member may provide additional support to the Computer Science department, based on experience. Candidates are expected to have a prior experience in managing administrative tasks. Prior experience in managing finances would be beneficial but is not required.
- In collaboration with the WPIs Scholarship for Service Program Director and grant co-Investigators, the position will manage WPIs SFS program. Some duties include logistical support for scholarship awardees, grant financial administration, arranging and supporting the logistics for visiting guest speakers, supporting the grant and scholarship reporting requirement of the US Office of Personnel Management and the National Science Foundation, and recruiting and evaluating scholarship applicants. Other duties may include promotion of the SFS program through websites, flyers, marketing materials, and through coordination with WPIs Graduate Admissions Office. The position requires travel to an annual job fair, typically held in Washington DC in January, with addition travel as needed.
Depending on the staff members background and experience, the staff member may engage in additional duties to support the Computer Science department, such as student mentorship and advising.

- Candidates should have a minimum of a college degree or equivalent experience in administrative service. Candidates must be detail oriented. Candidates should have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and be able to work in a collaborative environment. Candidates must be able to advise and mentor students on processes and reimbursement procedures. Candidates must be able to handle financial matters.
