A research group with a long-standing interest in mechanisms underlying DNA replication, repair and mutagenesis seeks a Research Support Specialist. It is expected that the candidate will work collaboratively with graduate and undergraduate students, will independently execute varied experimental procedures, will have strong verbal and written communication skills, will process research results and write summary reports, will train and instruct support staff on methods and procedures, will procure laboratory supplies, and will maintain laboratory reagents, stocks and equipment.
B.S. in Biochemistry or related discipline and 1 year research experience
Preferred education/experience: M.S. and 1 year research experience, or B.S. and 2-3 years research experience
