Kansas State University seeks candidates for two positions of Coordinator – Fraternity Life and Coordinator – Sorority Life in Student Life. Each Coordinator will serve as a front-line, primary resource for either the Panhellenic Council or the Interfraternity Council. Ideal candidates will possess strong skills in advising students and their organizations, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, superior organizational abilities, and strong working knowledge of issues relative to social fraternities and sororities.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (or work equivalent) in a related field
Master’s degree completed by May 2017 in college student personnel, counseling, higher education, or related field. (Candidates will also be considered if pursuing a degree.)
Possess either one year of professional fraternity/sorority advising experience OR two years graduate level advising experience.
Experience with management of formal sorority recruitment and knowledge of Release Figure Methodology/sorority recruitment information systems; experience with fraternity recruitment, retention and marketing; experience in working with sororities/fraternities similar in chapter sizes at K-State; knowledge of fraternities/sororities and demonstrated leadership experience.
