Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is currently hiring a part-time Research Park Administrative and Events Planner for the new MicaPlex Technology Center to work 20 hours a week.  This position will assist the Director of the Research Park in day-to-day operations of the MicaPlex Technology Business Incubator and coordinate events and services for the MicaPlex tenants. Competitive candidates will have experience in office administration, event management, a strong background in customer relations and an interest in developing entrepreneurial support skills. 

Responsibilities Include:
Event planning – Assist with planning a variety of events throughout the year.  Generate event invites/registration and collect RSVP’s, coordinate event services (room reservation, facilities, catering, IT set-up), act as liaison for event sponsors.
Reception – front desk reception, welcome visitors, answer main line phone and direct calls, conduct building tours and services overview to potential client/tenants and visitors, oversee student workers.
Administrative -coordinate meetings, update data in incubator management software, coordinate with web services to periodically update website with Director’s oversight, arrange staff travel, office supplies procurement, budget management, maintain records and files, manage common area services, mail sorting, general record keeping, and other general office management and administrative duties as assigned.
Client Services – coordinate incubator application and evaluation process, tenant move-in/move-out coordination, prepare information for client/tenant invoices, maintain conference room calendar, and assist tenants and staff in gathering information pertinent to incubator operations.
