The Public/Parent Relations Specialist at Bryant Zhuhai is responsible for the management of information technology functions related to the external communication of information including the Bryant Zhuhai website, social media sites, Wechat, etc.. The Public/Parent Relations Specialist is also responsible for serving as the liaison and primary point of contact between Bryant Zhuhai and the parents of matriculated students for matters, including but not limited to explaining American and Chinese academic policy and procedure, answering parent inquiries related to the education of their students and other related inquiries as they arise, and serving as the coordinator for the Bryant forum.

TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires an individual with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and 2-4 years of relevant experience in the areas of communication, public relations, information technology, web design, social media, and/or in parent relations. Master’s degree preferred. Proficiency in both Chinese and English is required, as is the knowledge of varying cultures and the understanding of American and Chinese educational policy and practice. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are required to effectively interact with public and parent constituents is required, as the ability to maintain confidentiality in line with mandated law such as FERPA (or the Chinese equivalent.)
