Position Summary
This hourly position will facilitate day long trainings (approximately 4 trainings per year at up to 8 hours each).

This individual will collaborate with other trainers working within the project to develop and facilitate full-day training content/curriculum on the subject of trauma-informed care for individuals living with HIV/AIDS and HepC, and the agencies and providers that work with them.

The trainings are facilitated with groups of 15-30 Peer Workers seeking certification through the NYDOH AIDS Institute.

Hours for the position are irregular and dependent on the number of trainings offered. Position is dependent on grant funding.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree; previous experience developing content and providing training in trauma-informed care; experience facilitating trauma-informed care training in HIV/AIDS-related settings

Preferred Qualifications
MSWLMSW or equal professional license; experience developing training content/curriculum tailored to HIV/AIDS-related settings.
