Responsible for the support of virtual course delivery models, to include setup and maintenance of templates, updates and maintenance to live course sections, and telephone and email application support for faculty teaching classes via Embry-Riddle’s Learning Management System or via the EagleVision virtual classroom. Provide assistance and support for academic Quality Managers, course Production Coordinators, students, and staff, and support software training initiatives for academic technologies. Support projects for new technology initiatives with various vendors and university stakeholders and foster process improvement for existing workflows.

Configure, maintain, and repair live and future term courses by performing pre-term configurations for third-party publisher integrations/ applications such as Pearson, Cengage Aplia, Wiley, Skills Assessments, maintaining Learning Management Demonstration courses, supporting online tutoring, and EagleVision. Build sustainability through advanced training activities, creation of documentation, how-to-recordings and tutorials, live trainings via videoconferencing, and the implementation of process improvements for evolving responsibilities.

Research, test, and conduct quality checks for future technology innovation, including conducting development and testing for newly adopted third-party technology integrations. This includes but is not limited to establishing technical workflows, and support plans, implementing the Canvas Tool Review process, and serving as system administrator for tools integrated within Canvas.

Report trends, possible proactive measures, and recommend emerging academic technologies that support the Campus strategic direction. Work with Embry-Riddle’s Learning Management System and EagleVision’s administrators to troubleshoot system problems. Run queries and create monthly reports of courses. Remain up to date on the trends, standards, and information technology security standards in online learning.
