The Assistant College Administrator reports to the Dean and assists with tracking of Department projects, collecting data, assisting with the Department budget and travel requests, website management, coordination of faculty training, and various program data. Additionally, the position will assist with the scheduling/coordination of meetings for the College Leadership Team, College faculty and staff, and other groups as directed by the Department Chairs (virtual and on-site meetings)-including (as needed) scheduling hotel rooms, monitoring flights, booking meeting rooms, and recording meeting minutes. Provide academic support, including course scheduling, faculty clearances, course outlines and other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities Include:
Department Chair Administrative Support: Tracks department projects, collecting data, assists with the department budget and travel requests, website management, coordination of faculty training, and various program data. Assists with the scheduling/coordination of meetings for the College Leadership Team, College faculty and staff, and other groups as directed by the Department Chairs (virtual and on-site meetings)-including (as needed) scheduling hotel rooms, monitoring flights, booking meeting rooms, and recording meeting minutes. Accesses and analyzes organizational data in support of Department and College initiatives. Curates and distributes monthly and quarterly scholarship reports.
Academic Support: Assists with course scheduling, faculty clearances, course outlines and syllabi review, academic integrity violations, course development coordination, student requests, etc.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
(1-3) years of work related experience
Analytical skills with an in depth knowledge of information systems and technical expertise with Microsoft operating systems, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook/email, and Internet end-user applications.
Strong verbal and written
Ability to analyze charts, spreadsheets, etc.
Ability to thrive in a face-paced environment required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Canvas, Campus Solutions and Enrollment Processe
