Research Technician II, Psychology

The Department of Psychology is seeking a Research Technician II. Incumbent will be an employee of The Research Foundation of SUNY in a grant-supported position. Incumbent will be assigned to the UB Parent Teen Talk Study, under the supervision of Dr. Craig Colder, Principal Investigator, and Dawn Keough, Project Coordinator. We are looking for someone who is extremely detail oriented, well organized and with good technical skills and interviewing skills. Applicants must be able to effectively communicate with people to conduct both phone recruitment activities as well as in person assessments. Incumbent should be comfortable working with Excel and Word or more general spreadsheets and word processing. Key accountabilities and responsibilities
- Administering computer assisted interviews to adults and adolescents regarding alcohol and drug use and other sensitive information.
- Recruit participants by phone & schedule appointments
- Miscellaneous office duties (preparing mailers, copying, filing, database entry, etc.)
- Maintaining online survey
- Maintaining Project Website
