A Full-Time Classified Represented Position
Review Date: July 26, 2018
Under the supervision of a Director, plans, organizes, and coordinates food preparation and activities. Prepares and maintains serving, cleaning, and food related activity schedules. Prepares food according to sanitation and safety standards, as well as compliance with a variety of state and federal reporting mandates, district rules, regulations, and requirements. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Two (2) full-time equivalent years of verifiable food preparation experience or other cooking/nutrition related position and be physically able to handle the job responsibilities involved with quantity food service preparation and kitchen operations.
Education equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. Must have basic computer application skills (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Licenses and Other Requirements:
Possession and maintenance of a valid California driver’s license.
Possession of a valid California Food Handler certification.
Must understand, speak and read English at a level required for successful job performance.
