The University of St. Thomas invites qualified candidates to apply for a Department Systems Specialist I position within the Registrar's Office.

The Department Systems Specialist serves as the academic classroom scheduler for the university; coordinates, produces, and exports data files to external vendors, such as the National Student Clearinghouse; provides support to the ongoing success of Degree Works by generating reports, testing and trouble-shooting during upgrades; will manage a comprehensive production schedule for undergraduate and graduate divisions; generates all batch programs for enterprise system users ; submits all job requests to ITS/IE, and monitors all output; and will be cross-trained on Registrar Office primary functions.

This is a full-time, benefits eligible position. Minimum qualifications: Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in computer/informational science or a related field, and two (2) years of professional level experience providing information systems customer support, particularly in data management, report writing and data analysis, document management systems, and training/documentation development.

Preferred qualifications: Experience with R25 Campus Scheduler, Banner, Degree Works, S25/CRON Maintenance, Appworx, Cognos, strongly preferred. Skill in working with diverse subgroups by translating their spoken needs into technological support.
