The Regional Assistant Director of Admissions will execute a strategic recruitment plan for Midwest – greater Chicago area using available resources to meet targeted enrollment goals to include; travel promoting ERAU in a variety of forums, creating relationships with high school guidance and college counselors, maintaining continuous contact with prospective students during the admissions process, and staying current on industry and campus news that could impact the prospective student. Must reside in Chicago greater metropolitan area.

Develop a travel itinerary to represent the university in a variety of forums and to meet and recruit prospective students.
Select and recruit at local, regional and national college fairs
Select, arrange and visit high schools
Build relationships with the counseling staff and high schools and community colleges
Conduct Admissions presentations nationally to individuals and grounds of prospective students in targeted cities
Evaluate the effectiveness of all college recruitment activities and events
Help all prospective students who contact the university to answer questions, review students’ application files and render admission decisions.
Maintain contact with prospective students through phone, email and promotion materials. Provide career and/or pre-college counseling to prospective students and families.
Work with the student information system and maintain statistical data of the prospect applicant cohort. Participate in meetings when available either in person or via teleconference.
Gather information to remain current on university programs, national admissions trends (standards and policies) financial aid opportunities (including institutional, federal, and private), and of industry trends, specifically within the aviation industry.
