Process applicant paperwork, schedule and administer over 2800 FAA Airmen Knowledge Tests (AKT’s) annually, emboss and distribute original score reports, and implement end-of-day procedures.  Provide data support to Testing Center Administrator.  Maintain high level confidentiality regarding applicant’s records.

Administration of FAA AKT:  Ensure authorizations and applicant identifications are correct during registration.  Enter applicant data into CATS Program and explain procedures to applicant.  Proctor, grade and upload AKT’s to CATS.  Keep noise to a minimum during testing sessions.  Check all FAA supplemental books are in good condition.  Generate receipts and refunds of FAA AKT examinations. Assist in implementing new FAA and CATS procedures. (60%)

Data Support: Prepare monthly spreadsheet for Flight Data and Certification Manager.  Update weekly Team Manager Reports.  Review monthly PSI/LaserGrade invoice for Flight Department Budget Manager.   Update annual AKT quantity report for Chairman of Flight Training.  Edit and maintain data on Faculty class rosters each semester.  (10%)

Office duties: Update FAQ, Student, Proctor, Memo, Operational, and ODA Manuals. Coordinate, monitor, and grade written exams administered to new flight instructor applicants.  Proctor non-FAA exams. Assist in training new student assistants.  (20%)

Audit preparation: Review all applicant documentation for FAA annual inspection.  (10%)
 
Assist with annual fall orientation for all incoming flight students. 
 
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED requred.
1-3 years’ office and support experience required.
Knowledge of Microsoft products including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook/email, and Internet desired.
Knowledge of FAA regulations (FAA Procedures Manual, FAA Order 8100.15, and Order 8080.6) preferred.
High level of personal communication skills.
Detail and customer service oriented.
Strong organizational skills.
Good moral character.
