Oversee the registration of all incoming students in the College including undergraduate-traditional, non-traditional, transfer-and graduate students. This includes, but is not limited to: interacting with prospective students and their families, class scheduling and course placements, transfer credit questions, etc.
Be available to and assist all levels of students as needed in creating education plans, schedule changes, navigating academic policy, solving issues, etc., in conjunction with faculty advisors and other campus units as appropriate.
Maintain rosters and records of students in the college.
Lead in the identification and implementation of holistic student development strategies, especially within the first two year, to support student persistence and academic success.
Work as part of a team of student, faculty advisor, and college leadership in managing individual plans for student success and satisfactory academic progress, and develop standards and protocol for the College in dealing with At Risk students.
Work as part of CSI leadership team to ensure appropriate practices and procedures are followed, including standardization of communications.
Develop, maintain, and distribute of materials regarding requirements, expectations, resources, and opportunities within the college and university.
Work with college leadership in creating course schedules each semester and in ongoing program development.
Educate and regularly update faculty advisors on best practices for student mentoring, degree requirements, and other policies.
Serve as college liaison to Admissions, Records, Housing, Cashiers, Dean of Students, and other departments as necessary.
Work collaboratively with other colleges and departments in campus-wide events, including, but not limited to: New Student Orientation, Spring Preview Day, and Open House.
