The Inventory and Property Control Coordinator’s primary responsibilities will be to administer and manage the inventory control system, maintain inventory and product data, manage attic stock, manage the vehicle reservable fleet vehicles, the campus vehicle fueling process and SDS system for the facilities management department.
Read and comprehend instructions, write information, and complete simple forms.
High school (or GED) level ability in spelling, grammar, basic composition, and math.
Required skills, knowledge, abilities:
2 – 5 years of experience in a property or inventory control setting
1 – 3 years of experience working with vendors and a computerized purchasing system (accounting)
Strong understanding of computer operating systems, software, equipment and peripheral devices
Fast, accurate and efficient data input skills
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service skills in service environment both in person and over the phone and radio systems
Ability to work in a multi-task environment
Arizona Driver’s License and clean MVD driving record and the ability to operate campus vehicles and equipment in a safe, responsible manner
Must be able to lift heavy objects
Must be able to operate forklift
