Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University announces an opening in the Academic Affairs Department at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Worldwide Campus. The Academic Support Specialist will support the Academic Affairs Department with interactions with the Chancellor, Chief Academic Officer, College Deans, various Worldwide Departments, and the faculty and staff. The successful individual should be highly organized, have an outgoing personality and be able to multi-task. Excellent interpersonal and computer skills are essential, as is the ability to project and promote a positive image of the department, while supporting academic excellence in ERAU-W’s teaching and learning environment. The individual should be a team player with a strong commitment to customer service and have at least 3-5 years’ experience, preferably in an academic setting. Responsibilities Include:Academic SupportMaintain Faculty Course Clearance (FCCA) workflow: Respond to electronic FCCA form issues. Request/maintain FCCA system accessData entry into SIS Campus Solutions system to support electronic FCCA system: instructions, related/teaching disciplines, course clauses, owners, and learning outcomes. FCCA system trainingFaculty Payment Voucher (FPV) system maintenanceDepartment liaison with college administrators for faculty record maintenance Data entry and maintain faculty databasesFaculty resume trackingImaging/Webscan/Index faculty documents/recordsIdentify and shred inactive faculty filesAssist with curriculum proposals review process: Post Curriculum Proposals in Canvas discussion board, create curriculum review folders. Scan and archive approved curriculum proposals into the Imaging system. Assist with production and editing of online academic catalog. Assist with management of the Curriculum Inventory Management (CIM) database content management to support multiple electronic systems. Assist in graduation coordination: Faculty regalia, line up, photos, etc. Maintain faculty presentation/publication documentsAdministrative workAssist with special projects Coordinate/distribute department mail
